WEDNESDAY FAMILY NIGHTS WILL RESUME Sept. 7th and continue through Nov. 16th.   Join us for a brand new adventure as we present Answers in Genesis “Awesome Science” series for the whole family.  Dinner will commence promptly at 5:45 pm. followed by a segment of this action-packed DVD series.  Each week, teenager Noah Justice will take you and your family on a tour to various destinations around the globe, where you’ll be presented with geologic and historical evidence in support of the accuracy of the creation account as written in the book of Genesis. Discussion groups and/or question and answer time, led by one of the Elders/Pastors, will follow.  Material is suitable for ages 5 through adult.  Age-appropriate lessons and/or child care will be provided separately for those ages 4 and under.  Pre-registration is helpful for meal planning and necessary for child care.  For more information on "Awesome Science” visit www.answersingenesis.org.

THE NEXT PASS IT ON DAY IS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1.  Start collecting your good used clothing & household items to be donated.

 

JANITORIAL MINISTRY is seeking a person (or persons) to assist with cleaning/vacuuming a small portion of the building on a rotational basis.  Contact Lee Turner (church office) for additional information.

 

We continue to collect aluminum cans to be recycled in support of Deep Valley Christian Service Camp.  Cans should be washed, bagged, and placed in the receptacle located in the coat area to the right of the main entrance (near the library).  PLEASE NO PLASTIC or TIN/METAL CANS (like soup, vegetable/fruit, etc.)....we can only accept aluminum. 

Helping Hands is in need of food donations.  Place donated food items in collection box located just inside the main entrance to the fellowship hall.  See bulletin board and/or collection box for list of specific items needed.   

THANK YOU!!   Pastor and Madame Annand have expressed their deep gratitude to this fellowship and all who contributed toward the purchase of two new sewing machines for use in training the residents of Nan Chapel in the trade of sewing.  They are very excited to report that because of your generous gifts, there are now 20 people in their sewing class, including 3 men!  

 

The Sept-Oct. edition of the Upper Room devotional is now available at the welcome center in the church lobby.  They are free to anyone who wants one on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please help yourself.
