Passover Seder
Passover is a time for family celebration around the table – a time for special foods and traditions similar to what we may do at Christmas or Easter.
In a Jewish home this special meal is called a seder (Hebrew word meaning "order").
Those who attend will gain insight into the Lord's Supper, since communion was instituted by Jesus at a Passover meal. Seeing how the traditional elements point to Messiah's death, burial, and resurrection makes a powerful impact.
With this being a unique event and special food being prepared, we need a headcount of how many are coming. Seating is also limited. A sign up sheet is at the Welcome Center or you can call the church office (724-376-3412). The cut off day to sign up is March 25. We will also be asking for a donation to off set the cost of the food. The suggested donation is $5 per person. I will be collecting the donations.
Children are welcome to participate.
