- Key Concept: The "Upper Story" God is the ultimate Deliverer who hears the cries of His people and acts to fulfill His covenant promises. While the "Lower Story" focuses on the historical events of Moses, the plagues, and the physical escape from Egypt, the Upper Story highlights God's perspective and eternal plan.
- Bible Narrative: It chronicles God's rescue of the Hebrews from Egyptian slavery through Moses. It covers Moses' upbringing, his flight from Egypt, the burning bush encounter, the plagues, the Passover, and the dramatic crossing of the Red Sea, highlighting God’s faithfulness and power.
